Las Señoras de Socorro
We are Las Señoras, the women’s auxiliary of the Sigler Western Museum in Wickenburg—and a lively circle of friends who like putting our energy to work. After a fire nearly ended the museum in the early 1970s, local women organized to raise money and volunteer. More than 150 of us still do that together today: planning events, rolling up our sleeves, and funding operations, exhibits, and the museum’s future.
50 years of rescue and resolve
What started as a fire-recovery effort became one of the Southwest’s most reliable museum auxiliaries. The same spirit that rebuilt the museum still funds it.
$3.1 million given back
From paint to payroll, we donate the proceeds of our events each year. Membership time has turned into millions of dollars for the museum.
Fun that funds the museum
